“ Went to Take One during happy hour (1pm-9pm), great value for the money (12 per person, including 2 drinks). Took us some time to get used to the karaoke machine but once we got the hang of it it was easy to find what we wanted. Good selection of Chinese songs, and we were able to find most of the English, Korean and Japanese songs that we were looking for. ”
“ A great karaoke place, especially because of the happy hour rate of 12.99 per person, 1-9pm, which is the cheapest I've ever seen in the area. The speaker quality varies between different rooms from horribly screechy to good. The two free drinks included in the happy hour are always a pleasant treat. They do have YouTube search feature but the system does restart sometimes once an hour. I did try to go here on a Saturday right when they opened and they were full with reservations so would recommend making a reservation for weekends or coming later than 4pm on weekend if you want to walk-in. There's a lot of available rooms during the week. Overall, this is my favorite, budget friendly karaoke place right now ”
“ Went to Take One for our holiday gathering, and had a great time there. Staff are dope and prices are very reasonable. We can pick songs from the karaoke machine's song list or YouTube, and if you have WeChat you can use your phone to pick songs. The system is quite easy to use. They have a pay-as-you-go system where we would be ordering at the front desk and paid. This worked out well for our group as we were paying for our own drinks and no one had to do the math at the end of the night. One thing this place is missing is a service button in the room, we had to walk out of the room and ask questions at the front desk or at the bar. Not a deal breaker but definitely room for improvement. ”

“ Went just after 1 o’clock for the Happy Hour special (12pp). The staff showed us how to use the machine then we stayed and sang for over two hours. Time went by very fast. It took a few minutes to learn the system, but we were able to find almost every song we wanted (English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean). For the ones we couldn’t find in the system we found on youtube, which was connected. Very fun time. ”
